頭部危險球認定故意　史卓曼禁賽6場

金鶯陳偉殷前天贏得第16勝，當天手下敗將藍鳥先發投手史卓曼(Marcus Stroman)投出頭部危險球，雖然未砸中打者，不過大聯盟認定這球有蓄意之嫌，今天對史卓曼處以禁賽6場與罰款，但罰款金額未公佈。
 
藍鳥開路先鋒雷耶斯(Jose Reyes)當天滑回本壘時，不慎被金鶯捕手喬瑟夫(Caleb Joseph)踩到手掌。攻守交換後，23歲的菜鳥投手史卓曼就對喬瑟夫投出飛越頭頂上空的速球，主審當場對雙方投手提出警告。
 
禁賽原本從今天藍鳥與金鶯3連戰最後一役開始執行，因史卓曼提出申訴而暫緩。史卓曼為自己喊冤，他表示：「我從沒故意投觸身球，我尊敬比賽，也尊敬對手，我的家人、朋友與隊友都知道我的為人。」(王覺一／綜合報導)
