薩爾瓦多官邸將變美術館

我國友邦薩爾瓦多新任總統瓦雷拉，決定不搬入官邸，將官邸開放做為美術館，要讓薩爾瓦多民眾不分貴賤都能自由參觀。

曾是左派叛軍領袖的瓦雷拉，三月贏得總統大選，並於日前宣誓上任；瓦雷拉同時宣布，將會居住在私人宅邸，並將總統官邸每兩個星期開放一次，做為美術館，尤其是要讓較貧窮的民眾，有機會認識這個國家的藝術家。

第一批受邀參觀的包括人權活動分子，及在1980和1990年代國家內亂期間的受害者家屬。
