CJ E&M方面表示「將於今日（5月1日）播出的《M countdown》和《火熱的瞬間xoxo EXO》節目確定停播。”

因上個月16日（4月16日）發生「Sewol號」沉船事故，CJ E&M所屬的有線頻道綜藝節目全部暫時停播，從上個月28日(4月28日)起一些節目恢復正常。

CJ E&M方表示「情景劇儘量減少了音效和人為的笑聲，脫口秀也十分注意選材，注意把握好尺度。」然而搞笑節目tvN的《SNL Korea》(5月3日)和《Comedy Big League》(5月4日)則確定停播。
