8日凌晨澎湖海域驚傳有作業漁船遭大陸鐵殼船在海上撞毀後逃逸，並將船尾網機、網具全拖下海中，導致至少損失百萬元。

海巡單位在接獲報案後，隨即在半個小時後出海追捕肇事大陸籍鐵殼船，但沒想到當海巡人員在我國海域發現4艘大陸籍鐵殼船要攔查時，其中一艘疑似是肇事船隻的大陸籍鐵殼船，竟不理會我國海巡單位巡防艇鳴笛，甚至在連開4槍後，依舊成功逃逸。

被害的漁船船長無奈表示，我國海巡單位護漁的態度向來消極，導致我國漁民一再被大陸籍漁船侵擾，被撞毀也只能自認倒楣。
