（中央社台北21日電）彭博報導，國際貨幣基金的英文簡寫IMF根本可以代表「溫和調降預測」（It’sModerating Forecasts），因為IMF太常下調全球經濟成長展望了。

外界預料IMF本週將把4月預測的2014年全球擴張速度3.6%下砍。4月估值已從1月預期的3.7%，及2013年1月的4.1%調降。

IMF並不孤單。德國商業銀行（Commerzbank AG）經濟師索爾芬（Ralph Solveen）在18日以「全球成長增強--等待果陀」（Stronger Global Growth --Waiting for Godot）為題的報告中，強調重新調整全球經濟展望。

以凱斯曼（Bruce Kasman）為首的摩根大通集團（JPMorgan Chase & Co.）經濟師發現，他們從2011年以來定期下修每週預測報告。匯豐控股公司（HSBCHoldings Plc）首席經濟師金恩（Stephen King）哀嘆，低估金融危機帶來的影響的經濟師有「樂觀偏見」。

儘管承認有似曾相識的感覺，凱斯曼的團隊打賭這季全球經濟成長加速到3.3%，2015年則達3.7%。索爾芬預測今年擴張3.1%，明年則擴張3.5%，美國復甦與此成長關聯最大。（譯者：中央社陳昱婷）1030721
