第3節，火箭火力稍歇，但Terrence Jones繼續發揮「見縫插針」本領，將領先鎖定在20分以上。

「哈佛小子」林書豪在4分24秒回到場上，雖然獲得一次底線三分球出手的機會，球卻涮框而出，隨後的切入拋投也被Andre Drummond搧了一記麻辣鍋。

不過最後33.9秒，林書豪跑了幾乎半個半場，用他擅長的速度搶回進攻籃板，不難看出他想用拚勁證明自己。
