陳維齡日前帶爺爺的字畫上JET《命運好好玩》，專家鑑定是國民黨大老于右任的真蹟，從題字內容來看，她爺爺和于有一定的交情，她才說爺爺是師長，地位相當將軍，奶奶的爸爸還是清朝四品官，曾任知府，當時家世顯赫。

她說，她高中時媽媽才告訴她有滿人血統，奶奶出身官宦世家：「當時聽到，還是有點優越感呢！」她爺爺來頭也不小，曾跟隨何應欽將軍抗日，身上有十幾個彈孔，「爺爺那時做大官，奶奶都穿貂皮大衣，稱得上是官夫人。」

不過老公宋逸民對她家世沒太大興趣，她說：「我跟他說我有滿人血統，他只回我，喔，然後呢？」一副「這又怎樣」的反應，害她提不起勁往下說，有時反擊說：「要不是清朝沒落，你怎麼娶得到我這貴族小姐！」
