2014年9月3日淩晨約1時30分，Ladies' Code乘坐的車輛在南韓嶺東高速公路發生車禍，成員高恩妃不幸身亡，據警方人員透露，其乘坐車輛在嶺東高速公路距離仁川43公里處撞上防護墻，雖然具體事故原因仍在調查中，但暴雨導致路面濕滑應是主要原因。車禍事件中，受傷最嚴重的高恩妃在送醫不久後即停止呼吸。事故發生時車上的Ladies' Code五名成員、化粧師和司機共七人，高恩妃不幸身亡，權梨世與李昭政重傷，而其餘四人則為輕傷。高恩妃去世時年僅21歲。
恩妃9月5日的早上8時出殯，火葬後骨灰安厝京畿道廣州市盆唐天城追悼公園。[4]而成員李昭政在同日手術成功，但因怕她無法承受，所以尚未知道隊友恩妃逝世的事，可是最後因爲看到工作人員穿著黑色衣服而得知成員恩妃死亡。而成員梨世，因腦水腫情況不樂觀，還在加護病房。
