年度最後網球大滿貫美國公開賽(U. S. Open)女子單打冠軍戰結束，世界球后、美國名將小威廉絲(Serena Williams)僅耗時75分鐘，便以6比3、6比3完勝世界第11、丹麥甜心沃妮雅琪(Caroline Wozniacki)，完成3連霸。這是小威第6座美網單打后冠與第18座大滿貫單打冠軍。

男子雙打冠軍戰結果也是世界排名第1地主選手直落2獲勝，並列雙打球王的布萊恩兄弟(Mike & Bob Bryan)以6比3、6比4，擊敗西班牙組合葛拉諾耶斯(Marcel Granollers)／洛佩斯(Marc Lopez)，奪得他們第16座大滿貫冠軍。

男子單打決賽由日本「網球王子」錦織圭出戰克羅埃西亞一哥西利奇(Marin Cilic)，明晨5點開打。(王毓健／綜合報導)
