康寧Q2獲利不如所料 看好面板價回溫

美國玻璃基板大廠康寧（Corning）公布第2季淨營收大增25%，主因是世界盃足球賽拉高歐洲與南美洲對電視的需求 ，然而上季獲利低於分析師預估，原因是液晶面板價格仍受壓抑。

為蘋果與三星供應玻璃基板的康寧公布，第2季淨營收大增25%至24.8億美元，高於一年前的19.8億美元；第2季淨利下滑至1.69億美元，相當每股盈餘11美分，低於一年前同季的6.38億美元或每股43美分。

如果不計部分項目，上季每股盈餘37美分，不如分析師平均預估的38美分。康寧表示，液晶面板價格的跌勢在第3季緩和下來，預期將回到2013年的水準。康寧指出，玻璃基板銷售量成長幅度高於公司預期，主因是歐洲與南美的電視銷售增溫，很可能是受世界盃足球賽所提振。
