興農集團創辦人楊天發病逝

興農集團創辦人楊天發(93歲)，25日晚間傳出病逝台中，家屬對此都很低調，外傳家屬不打算發訃聞，3日內就會安葬。楊天發(大雅人)曾是中華職棒興農牛隊的總裁，弟弟楊天生是長億集團及朝陽科技大學創辦人。興農牛曾於2004年、2005年奪下中華職棒總冠軍，但在2012年轉賣給義大集團成為「義大犀牛」隊。

楊家的長億集團跨足育樂、金融、教育、營建等產業，早年甚至是縣市合併前，台中縣的「第三勢力」，隨著時空環境轉變，楊家較為外界熟知的僅剩朝陽科技大學。

學校教職員對於楊天發病逝一事，多半都不知情，一位高階主管透露，楊天發的家屬對此事很低調。
