中國大陸國家主席習近平所指派的特使、大陸外交部副部長張業遂抵達馬來西亞，預定與馬國政府進磋商，要求馬方處理好相關事宜。

大陸中央電視台上午報導，習近平雖然正在歐洲訪問，但也對馬來西亞航空公司失聯班機搜尋工作最新情況作出指派特使赴馬國的指示。張業遂目前已抵達吉隆坡。

因惡劣天候而一度喊停的搜尋馬航失聯客機作業凌晨已重啟。大陸雪龍號科學考察船抵達目標海域，參與搜尋工作。目前聯合搜索參與方已有6國，搜救工作在北京時間凌晨5時展開，計劃搜索8萬平方公里的海域。(中央社)
