SONY最近經營不太妙，不但要出售VAIO個人電腦業務，7月也將獨立分拆連虧10年的電視業務，今年底到明年初更將裁員5000人。不過這串新聞資訊，對住在台灣的你我來說，都比不上這個消息來得緊張：SONY公布12款手機不會再更新作業系統。

12款不再更新的名單：
Xperia go
Xperia ion
Xperia J
Xperia miro
Xperia P
Xperia S
Xperia SL
Xperia arc S
Xperia acro S
Xperia sola
Xperia tipo
Xperia U

這批名單多是已推出18~24個月的智慧型手機，往後官方將不再提供系統更新。市場上認為，SONY此舉是要把省下的資金用在刀口上，以期在一片負面的消息中斷尾求生。

當然，手上正在使用這些手機的用戶可能會失望，但有些理智的網友指出：其實Google原本對支援行動裝置系統更新的承諾便是18個月，這樣的結果並不讓人意外。

Sony Mobile向來會在官網中明確標示手機作業系統未來更新的時程，如果你也使用SONY手機，建議你，在「這裡」點選手機型號，可以檢視下次更新的版本。

以還會持續更新的Xperia ZL為例，「最新版本」在去年12月更新至Android 4.3，「下一個版本」將是Android 4.4。

但已被列入不再更新名單的Xperia go，則顯示「最新與最終版本」為去年4月的Android 4.1，不會再有下一個版本了。（張涵君／綜合報導）
