培養批判思考　黃靖惟科學奧林匹亞奪冠

【蔡智銘／台中報導】參加在印度舉行的國際國中科學奧林匹亞競賽的居仁國中3年級學生黃靖惟，在38國220位選手中，以總成績96分，勇奪第1名，今天中午在學校接受台中市副市長蔡炳坤表揚，稱讚他的表現是台灣之光。
 
黃靖惟的父母都是老師，從小培養他獨立考及批判精神，黃靖惟不但對於各種知識都充滿好奇，主動發問，甚至連已經眾所週知的理論也抱持懷疑的精神，連指導老師王翠妃都大讚黃靖惟的求知精神，是讓他成功的最重要因素。
 
得獎後不參加12年國教會考，可以直接選擇想上的高中，黃靖惟說，他希望能進入台中一中，繼續鑽研他最喜歡物理，未來朝學術方向努力。
