踏訪古蹟 嘉市文化漫遊

嘉義市有百年歷史公園、紅毛井等文化遺產，市府今天啟動古蹟週，邀請民眾來一趟「微笑嘉義、幸福漫遊」。

2013全國古蹟日嘉義古蹟週在百年歷史嘉義公園揭開序幕，展開「微笑嘉義，幸福漫遊古蹟」系列活動，九天民俗技藝團龍王鼓帶來開場震撼。

嘉義市長黃敏惠指出，從踏出嘉義火車站開始，一路向東到嘉義公園，周邊可看到許多珍貴文化資產，有仁武宮、城隍廟、紅毛井、舊電信局、郵局、農林學校校長官舍、舊監獄、檜意森活村及正在規劃的阿里山林業村等。

黃敏惠說，百年歷史的嘉義公園蘊藏很多史蹟、古物和動人故事，日據時期留下的史蹟資料館，是一座探尋歷史記憶的寶庫。

嘉義市政府文化局表示，嘉義古蹟週從今天到22日推出系列活動，期間21日在市定古蹟阿里山鐵道北門驛，安排現場報名免費搭乘阿里山森林小火車，帶引民眾體驗林業文化城市、徜徉歷史與古蹟之美。
