【綜合報導】美國當局確定，華盛頓海軍海洋系統司令部槍擊案的槍手是34歲的艾力克斯（Aaron Alexis），他在與警員交戰期間被擊斃。

艾力克斯2007年起成為全職海軍後備兵，至2011年1月底離開。有海軍官員表示，他因為一連串不當行為而被撤銷軍職。另外，美國總統歐巴馬也宣佈，白宮和國會大廈將持續至周五，降半旗悼念槍擊案死者。
