中科園區暗夜冒白煙　嚇壞路人

【陳世河／台中報導】凌晨2點多，中科大雅園區聯的亞科技公司，突然冒出大量白煙隨風飄散到廠區旁科雅路，一時間工廠和馬路都籠罩在雲霧中，路過民眾以為發生火災或毒氣外洩立刻打119報案，消防隊人員到場發現，白色煙霧是液態氮氣轉化成氣體所產生的，沒有毒性也無味。
 
中科管理局環安組長朱振群表示，白色氣體是聯亞科技將液態氮轉變成氣體過程，管線周遭溫度急降造成水氣凝結形成，因沒有即時開啟電扇通風設備導致煙霧瀰漫，並不是氮氣外洩，清晨4點廠方開啟通風設備後，煙霧瀰漫狀況就立刻排除。
