烏干達氣槽車爆炸 至少29死

烏干達警方30日表示，1部汽車與1部運送天然氣的車輛相撞，氣槽車爆炸，引發大火，釀成至少29人喪生、數十人嚴重灼傷的慘劇。

警方說，這起事故發生在29日晚間，地點在首都坎帕拉(Kampala)郊區。

大多數的死者是載客摩托車騎士，他們企圖從氣槽車上抽取天然氣。

1名美聯社記者表示，至少有20人嚴重灼傷。

在烏干達這個東非貧窮國度，運送天然氣的氣槽車經常發生爆炸，常常造成那些拿著塑膠罐衝到現場想偷取燃料的民眾喪生。

烏干達負責災難事務的官員艾克威魯(Musa Ecweru)說，一些人未能從過去的錯誤中汲取教訓，實在不幸。
