據中國日報報導，一位全國人大委員表示，大陸最快可能在明年開徵全國範圍的房產稅。此前房產稅已經在重慶和上海進行了試點。

華爾街見聞報導，該人士表示，目前人大正在擬訂房地產稅立法草案，該草案預計在今年年底完成，2015年實施。

報導還提到，徵稅的方式仍在討論中，有可能調整。房地產稅的稅率並未確定，徵收的範圍是針對新建房產還是已有房產也尚未有明確的說法。
