美國賓夕法尼亞州一名肥胖女子為了能在姐姐婚禮上擔任伴娘，竟減掉了160磅(約73公斤)的體重，這是她減肥前體重的一半。

環球網據美國中文網報導，報導援引『紐約每日新聞消息』稱，30歲的傑米‧哈辛格在減肥前體重達到304磅(約138公斤)，她在徹底改變飲食結構並加以高強度鍛煉後，減掉了80磅(約36公斤)體重。但她並不滿足於此，她成為了一名素食主義者，加強了訓練強度，並與減肥中心簽約，最終，她減掉了160磅體重，她的衣服型號從最初的24號變成了4號。

傑米驕傲地說：『現在，我只有之前的一半重量。』目前，傑米已成為各大媒體爭相報導的對象，成為十足的『新晉減肥明星』。
