巴西辦世足 國寶比利未獲重視

巴西退休足球明星「球王」比利(Pele)被譽是世界足球史上最偉大的球員，同時也是巴西獲得世界盃足球賽主辦權的重要人物之一。但當這項足壇最高盛事在祖國巴西如火如荼進行的同時，比利似乎被遺忘了。
首先在6月12日聖保羅舉行的世足賽開幕儀式上，巴西總統羅賽芙(Dilma Rousseff)偕同許多國家政要和體壇重要人士出席，而住在離聖保羅不遠的比利，卻未被邀請參與盛會。
接下來，在6月17日，巴西隊在佛塔雷沙(Fortaleza)第二場比賽時，比利同樣沒趕上。這次他是被困在塞成一團的車陣中。最後只能在車上聽廣播了解戰況。
事後，比利在接受環球電視新聞網(Globo News)訪問時說：「這是我第二次從廣播得知巴西世界盃戰況，上一次是1950年(巴西首度主辦世界盃)，第二次是今天。」
雖然足球強國巴西不乏成功的退休球星，但今年73歲的比利被任命為世界盃榮譽大使，在足壇上的地位無可取代。
上個星期，比利發跡、揚名的聖多斯市(Santos)，舉行了比利博物館(Pele Museum)的揭幕儀式，以表彰這位曾為巴西贏得3座世界盃冠軍的傳奇偉大球員。
