右手腕受傷、休息快兩個月、這個禮拜才回來的雙城外野手Oswaldo Arcia，用一支全壘打、加上兩次外野助殺，宣示手腕已經沒問題了。雙城單場轟出三發紅不讓，以6比1擊敗洋基。

另外兩位敲出全壘打的雙城打者，是Josh Willingham、以及Trevor Plouffe。雙城第2局靠Arcia陽春砲先馳得點，洋基則在第3局，由Jacoby Ellsbury敲出適時二壘安打，追平比數。然而平手沒有維持多久，4局上Willingham敲出陽春彈、Plouffe再擊出兩分砲，雙城4比1領先。

雖然洋基在5、6兩局攻上得點圈，但最後都被Arcia的雷射肩擋住，兩次都在本壘前製造出局。

8局下，鈴木清、前洋基球員Eduardo Nunez，擊出適時安打，雙城拿到保險2分，取得5分領先。9局上守護神Glen Perkins上場關門，雖被擊出一支安打，但沒有失分，順利收尾。

雙城先發投手Ricky Nolasco投6局，被敲7安、失1分，拿下今年第3勝、也是自4月24日後、再度獲勝。Nolasco生涯出賽240場，這還是他第一次碰上洋基。
