「烏腳病之父」王金河辭世 享壽97歲

台灣烏腳病之父王金河，因為腦溢血昨天在台大醫院辭世，享壽97歲。

回到台南為自己的銅像揭幕，這是烏腳病之父王金河，最後一次在鏡頭前露面，週四晚上7點多，王金河在台大醫院辭世，享壽97歲，王金河因為腦溢血送醫，雖然病情一度好轉，卻似乎是迴光返照，3月13日，王金河在家人的陪伴下，安祥辭世。

民國50年代，台南沿海地區烏腳病蔓延，王金河免費幫鄉民治病，救人無數，因而被稱做台灣烏腳病之父，台南市政府感念他的醫療貢獻，2013年還特別打造王金河銅像，表彰他的無私奉獻。

王金河晚年移居台北，但身體都還相當硬朗，2年前還曾經扮成耶誕老人，現身台南北門的耶誕活動，如今這位烏腳病之父辭世，他為了救治烏腳病患犧牲奉獻的精神，卻將永留人間。(民視新聞南部綜合報導)
