新年新制上路，公費13價結合型肺炎鏈球菌疫苗（PCV13），今年起擴及1至2歲幼兒！估計約有52萬名幼童受惠。

衛生福利部疾病管制署監測資料顯示，侵襲性肺炎鏈球菌感染症（IPD）好發於5歲以下幼童及65歲以上老人，幼童發生率又以2至5歲最高，1至2歲次之。

疾管署表示，只要是民國101年至102年出生，過去從未接種或曾經接種但還未完成應接種劑數的幼童，1月1日起，全都可以免費接種，估計約有52萬名幼童受惠。

疾管署提醒，家中如有年滿的1歲幼童，家長可攜帶幼兒併同兒童健康手冊及健保IC卡，至各地衛生所或預防接種合約醫院診所完成接種；結合型肺炎鏈球菌疫苗可與其他疫苗分開不同部位，同時或間隔任何時間接種，接種後少數人可能會發生注射部位疼痛、紅腫的反應，一般於接種2天內恢復。
