日本首相安倍晉三今（26）日上午參拜靖國神社，外交部表示，中華民國政府重申歷史不容遺忘，盼日本政府及政治人物正視史實並記取歷史教訓，切勿做出傷害鄰近國家國民情感的舉措。

安倍晉三上午無預警到奉有二次大戰甲級戰犯的靖國神社參拜。2012年，第二度出任首相的安倍晉三曾表態要在任內參拜靖國神社，引發大陸、南韓的不滿，不過最後安倍並未到場，才讓當時局勢趨於和緩，不過今天安倍的舉動，預計讓原本緊張的東海局勢更火上加油。

日本上一位到靖國神社參拜的是2006年的小泉純一郎，他於8月15日日本戰敗日當天，到神社參拜。

外交部表示，目前東海局勢相當緊張，各方更應冷靜，中華民國再度呼籲，至盼相關各方響應「東海和平倡議」精神，勿採升高對立之舉動，應以前瞻性的思維，負責任的態度，與周邊國家發展友好關係，共同為增進區域的和平與穩定而努力。

對過去的歷史中華民國不容遺忘，盼日本政府及政治人物正視史實並記取歷史教訓，切勿做出傷害鄰近國家國民情感的舉措。
