台彩威力少棒賽開打　拚百萬獎金

【李光濱／花蓮報導】第一屆台彩威力盃全國少棒賽今天在花蓮德興棒球場開打，這是去年底一位花蓮威力彩得主捐出1.2億彩金，指定給花蓮縣每年舉辦全國性少棒賽，冠軍獎金高達100萬元。這次參賽的隊伍共有16支來自全國各縣市的代表隊，包括台南市立人、台東縣卑南等傳統勁旅，花蓮縣則是派出藍橘紅3支隊伍角逐，誓言留住冠軍獎盃。

主辦的花蓮縣政府教育處及棒球委員會表示，賽事將一連4天，前4名都有獎金，亞軍50萬元、季軍30萬元、殿軍則是10萬元。開幕式由森巴鼓隊及原住民歌舞開場，小選手依序繞著棒球場進場，花蓮縣代表小球員還宣讀謝詞，感謝威力彩得主讓花蓮的小孩可以快樂打球。
