中國大陸2013年度交通及電動兩輪車死亡數字出爐

交管部門的統計數字顯示，
2012年全國因交通事故共造成59997人死亡。其中，因電動自行車死亡的人員共5314人，受傷者近2.7萬人。

按照當年保有1.62億輛電動兩輪車的官方數字計算。涉及電動兩輪車的死亡概率，仍為每萬車0.3人，比例不變。
考慮到死亡事故大多是被汽車撞擊引起，而馬路上由生手駕駛的汽車正在急劇增加。所以，可以分析出，單純地從電動兩輪車自身的駕馭安全性來說，是改善的。
