米格魯狂犬病實驗 明年再議

（中央社記者楊淑閔台北27日電）出訪返台的行政院農業委員會主委陳保基今晚表示，是否進行狂犬病動物實驗（含米格魯），將待召開實驗動物照護及使用委員會後決定。

農委會規劃以老鼠、鼬獾及實驗犬米格魯（Beagle）進行狂犬病毒實驗，不僅國內動保團體關注；也引起美國好萊塢明星關心；美國網站報導，影星亞歷鮑德溫致函陳保基，呼籲停止實驗。

陳保基今晚受訪指出，實驗動物照護及使用委員會將審視農委會規劃的狂犬病毒動物實驗（含使用鼠、鼬獾及米格魯）的實驗目的為何？如何執行？是否符合國際規範？必須讓動物所受痛苦降至最低，並讓一切損失減至最低。

他說，委員會包含專家及邀約動保界、倫理學等外部人員擔任委員，將慎重執行委員會的審查作業，作為未來動物實驗的示範；也希望透過科學的方法，在最快的時間，讓台灣回到狂犬病非疫區。

農委會動植物防疫檢疫局局長張淑賢25日表示，委員會預計明年召開，目的在於了解台灣的狂犬病毒需要多少量會致病。1021027
