胡志強：效法關聖帝君精神　台灣會更好

【曾雪蒨／台中報導】台中市長胡志強今天下午參加南天宮六十二周年宮慶大典，他在致詞時表示，關聖帝君是三國時代一個大將，也是三國成百上千英雄中，到現在最被人們膜拜、尊重的。他說因為關聖帝君的忠、義、正派，是當今社會的核心價值，他語重心長的表示，台灣人要忠義、要正派，他希望這樣的精神、價值要推廣深入人心，「人人都效法關聖帝君忠義、正派精神，台灣就會更好。」

胡市長同時也頒發功德金表揚讀經比賽的優勝者，勉勵他們不只要會讀經，更要經將經文的意義身體力行，才是讀經的真正意義。
 
上千名信眾讀經、百尊關公護持、擲筊贈價值萬元金鑲玉牌、關聖帝君文物展等普天同慶活動，特別的是今年南天宮邀請千人一同參與第四屆「關聖帝君桃園明聖經」誦讀比賽。
