桃園地景藝術節　草間彌生作品運抵現場

【黎百代／桃園報導】2013桃園地景藝術節即將在10月26日登場，隨著日子逼近，各項準備工作緊鑼密鼓加快腳步，在藝術節三項國際藝術家展出作品中，位於新屋埤日本草間彌生作品點點藝術「生命的足跡」，今中午工作人員將作品運到現場後，開始利用船隻陸續將作品擺放至新屋埤中，許多路過民眾看到，也好奇前來圍觀。

桃園縣文化局長張壯謀說，1929年出生的草間彌生，曾被英國泰晤士報列為20世紀200名最偉大藝術家之一。此次邀展，草間彌生得知作品在埤塘中展出，特地將作品數從３件增加到15件，也是草間彌生在台灣第一次正式展出，相當值得觀賞。
