第3季全球PC出貨量 衰退8.6%

國際研究暨顧問機構Gartner發布初步統計結果，今年第3季全球PC出貨量總計為8,030萬台，較上年同期下滑8.6%，已是全球PC出貨量連續第六季出現衰退。

Gartner首席分析師北川美佳子（Mikako Kitagawa）表示，在北美和歐洲，第3季通常為PC銷售的開學旺季，然而此兩地市場於本季的銷售量下跌至自2008年以來的最低水準。消費者對日常內容的消費逐漸由PC轉移至平板，使得成熟市場與新興市場的PC用戶數量皆續呈減少之勢。價格低廉的Android平板大量進入市場不但吸引了新興市場的首購族群，亦成為成熟市場的輔助裝置。
