菲律賓小姐梅根·揚在印尼巴厘島摘得2013世界小姐桂冠。

出生在美國的梅根·揚23歲，在126位佳麗中脫穎而出，承諾要成為「有史以來最佳世界小姐」。

因為強硬的穆斯林組織的抗議，這一比賽地點從印尼首都雅加達轉移到了巴厘島。

在這個以印度教徒為主的旅遊勝地，周六（9月28日）的決賽在嚴格的保安下舉行，但沒有出現更多的抗議報道。

在這次比賽中，法國小姐獲得亞軍，加納小姐獲得第三名。

2012年世界小姐、來自於中國的於文霞為梅根·揚加冕。

梅根·楊是菲律賓著名的主持人、影視女明星，10歲時從美國移民到菲律賓，目前仍在高校學習數字電影製作。
