女童遭流彈擊中 家長誤為初經

加州舊金山灣區海沃德市(Hayward)警方20日表示，當地1名10歲女童，在家中睡眠期間遭到流彈擊中臀部，但是她的父母卻延後5小時才報案，因為他們誤以為女兒開始來月經了。

警方指出，這名女童是在半夜2點左右，因為行駛過的汽車發射子彈，遭到流彈傷及臀部。女童在痛苦中驚醒，並且內衣出現血跡，才被父母誤認為是初經到來；即使帶女兒到浴室換洗，依然沒有發現。

直到女兒忍痛上學之後，家長在清理床鋪時才發現彈孔。

醫生表示，由於子彈傷口很小，加上家長的誤認，才讓這起槍擊案被忽視。

警方表示，目前這名女童還在住院，情況穩定。警方還不清楚子彈的來源、開槍的動機，也還沒有逮捕任何嫌犯。
