捷克離續保台維斯盃冠軍只差一步，現在就等塞爾維亞與加拿大之爭的結果，目前塞爾維亞處於1：2落後。

去年捷克奪下獨立建國後首座台維斯盃冠軍，今年氣勢不減，對阿根廷兩點單打全勝後，雙打趁勝追擊，Tomas Berdych與Radek Stepanek又合拍以6-3、6-4、6-2擊敗Carlos Berlocq與Horacio Zeballos，取得決賽門票。
