蘇力颱風來襲洶洶，勞委會特別提醒，颱風天勞工是否出勤，都應以「安全」為首要考量，另外若轄區因颱風宣布停止上班，勞工因而未出勤者，雇主不宜扣工資。

勞委會表示，依照「天然災害發生事業單位勞工出勤管理及工資給付要點」，颱風發生時，如工作地、居住地或上班必經途中任一轄區首長已通告各機關停止上班，勞工因而未出勤者，雇主宜不扣發工資，亦不得視為曠工、遲到或強迫勞工以事假或其他假別處理，此外，也不得強迫勞工補行工作、扣發全勤獎金、解僱或為其他不利的處分。

若雇主要求、勉強出勤的勞工，除了要給當日工資外，宜加給勞工工資，並提供交通工具、交通津貼或其他必要之協助。

若因為業務性質需要，需特定勞工照常出勤者，應由勞雇雙方於事前約定；有工會者，應徵得工會同意，無工會者，應經由勞資會議同意。
