9名外籍移民在德國遭到殺害，凸顯德國警方與情報單位資訊無法整合的漏洞，德國國會報告稍早出爐，除了要求情報單位資訊應該整合外，也希望德國能有更多不同文化背景的人士出任政府要職，避免出現類似悲劇。

2000年至2007年間，一群來自土耳其後裔的移民在德國被殺害，一開始警方朝幫派糾紛偵辦，直到2011年11月，新納粹組織「國家社會主義地下組織」（National Socialist Underground）2名成員在一樁搶案中自殺，以及唯一女成員受審後，警方才驚覺過去幾起遲遲未破的移民命案，都與該組織有關，國會議員也開始展開調查。

當時由於相關單位處理不當，包括未能朝種族歧視方向偵查，反而往受害者家屬及友人方向偵辦，並且發生警方誤用錯誤線人資訊等嚴重錯誤。負責調查的國會議員伊達斯在多達1357頁報告書中表示，「這是空前未有的嚴重錯誤，新納粹勢力帶來的危險，絕對不能再被低估。」

這起牽涉到新納粹勢力重啟爐灶並殺害移民的事件，因為當時警方未及時將遲遲未破的9條人命案，其中包括8位土耳其裔及一名希臘裔籍移民，與一樁銀行竊案連結，而且當時3名新納粹組織成員獲判無罪，消息傳出引起德國輿論譁然。

報告中也要求德國情報單位與警方應該更緊密合作，才能及時瓦解新納粹勢力重起爐灶，另外，也指出德國情報單位因為偏見與缺乏不同文化認知姓，才未能適時擊垮新納粹勢力的巢穴。

今年5月，「國家社會主義地下組織」唯一倖存的女成員切普受審，她因此被控涉入10條人命命案，以及策畫爆炸案攻擊，一旦有罪將被判無期徒刑。該組織成員涉嫌在7年之內，在德國殺害10條人命，其中9人為移民。

德國少數族群人口約1570萬人，約佔總人口8千萬人中的20％，但是擔任政府要職比例卻少得可憐，因此，伊達斯也表示，「如果當初承辦案件的警方單位有人具有土耳其血統，就不會花了6年以上時間，才搞清楚命案背後牽涉到右翼勢力的介入。」

由於當時這起多名外籍移民遭到新納粹勢力謀殺，而且發生警方偵辦備受批評，去年7月，時任德國憲法保護局局長的弗羅姆，還爆發手下官員被控湮滅可能的證據，因此最後黯然下台。
