外貿協會今日表示，去年啟動的「尖兵任務」耕耘有成，成功邀請伊拉克工業暨礦業部投資局副局長Alaa Abduhadi，促成Alaa Abduhadi於8月20日至31日率該國大型國營紡織事業Hilla公司五名主管來台採購不織布整廠機械、醫療機械及醫療耗材等，此行採購規模達1,050萬美元（超過新台幣3億元）。

近期，Hilla訪台並由外貿協會副秘書長葉明水接待，訪台期間並將訪問康那香、權和機械、永大明儀器及紡織綜合研究所等我國業者與單位。為協助我國業者瞭解伊拉克市場概況與掌握龐大的重建商機，外貿協會並於8月23日舉辦「伊拉克重建商機說明會」。

此外，外貿協會預計於今年10月底組團赴伊拉克艾比爾拓銷，艾比爾為伊拉克北方庫德族自治區首府，有別於伊拉克其他區域，為伊國境內最安全的區域，因幾乎未受戰火波及，該地區建設較其他區域快速，各國亦相繼加速於當地投資，現為我商拓銷最佳時機，也是台伊經貿交流另一具體落實。

【綜合報導】國人喜愛的度假勝地馬爾地夫傳出令人憤怒的判決！馬爾地夫一名15歲少女，過去多年多次被繼父強姦，去年更因姦成孕，嬰屍遭獸父埋於後院。事後少女竟被指控與父親通姦，罰鞭刑100。事件引起廣泛關注，有國際團體收集2百萬個簽名，要求撤銷控罪。當地最高法院最終推翻判決，少女當庭獲釋。
 
受害少女在去年6月與繼父一同被捕。今年2月，當地法庭竟以她發生「婚前性行為」為由判罪，並將其軟禁在首都馬律附近的一個島嶼。國際特赦組織形容控罪離譜，馬爾地夫國內亦有不少聲音反對，當地政府更促請法庭寬大處理。
 
目前事件終於告一段落，但少女留下重大心理陰影。有人權組織要求，讓少女繼續學業，並且將她交由國家照顧，因為少女一旦回家，很有可能會繼續遭受性侵犯。
 
少女的繼父則因為強姦未成年少女、藏有色情影片以及殺嬰罪，面臨25年監禁。而少女的母親，因為串謀掩飾罪行以及謀殺被捕。
 
馬爾代夫以伊斯蘭教為主要信仰，根據教義，禁止女性進行婚前性行為。在2011年，每10宗被罰打滕的個案，有9位都是女性。而過去3年，未有因強姦被判罪個案。
