Polar 這支磁性筆，可以當圓規、可以打陀螺、可以射子彈、可以貼在冰箱上、平板上；也可以當電容筆或一般筆，還可以.....呃！自己看影片吧！

是筆，更是玩具。

Polar 並非第一個由磁性材料做成的筆，但可能是最好玩的一個。

Polar 由加拿大設計師 Andrew Gardner 獨立完成，主要零件是幾個可拆卸的磁性金屬塊和一根筆芯。通過簡單的組合，Polar 可以實現多種玩法：

• 將金屬塊拼成一條直線，可以當作圓規
• 將金屬塊拼成一個圓圈，借助磁鐵互斥，可以玩「旋轉陀螺」
• 顛倒金屬塊兩極，下拉金屬塊，可以像皮筋一樣發射「子彈」

Polar 另一端是塗有導電漆的橡膠，能夠在平板電腦上直接繪圖。磁性筆身可以吸附在平板電腦的磁性外殼上，隨帶隨走；或者當作冰箱貼，直接貼在冰箱門上。

很多人都被 Gardner 的點子折服。9 月 10 日上線 KickStarter 後，Polar 得到近 4000 人的支持，1.4 萬加元的籌款目標也早早完成。

不過 Gardner 沒提到是否為 Polar 申請專利。老實說，Polar 吸引用戶的更多是創意，幾乎沒什麼技術門檻。這讓有心人要山寨很容易。不知 Gardner 有沒有考慮過應付抄襲的對策。
