森林國小
部落核桃生態步道
核桃生態步道大多數以核桃樹為主數量百餘顆，樹齡都超過百年，每年11月份結出核桃果。早期新光部落居民會在這個時節採收，果實大都用於小米的香料。核桃步道全長1.5公里，高山植物原始多樣性，是個生態學習的場地

鎮西堡教會
新光、鎮西堡主要的宗教信仰為基督教長老教會和天主教，鎮西堡基督長老教會，信徒們靠著信仰的力量一磚一瓦歷時數年辛苦建立而成。鎮西堡教會建築造型特別風景宜人，是當地最明顯的地標之一，遊客來到這裡，很難不注意到這座特別的建築物。

水蜜桃花園
為共同推廣部落觀光事業，並帶動部落文化生態產業、農特產品的多元推銷，次日前往鎮西堡檜木群舉辦生態活動之旅。為使這次活動的豐富與多樣性並結合新光、鎮西堡部落自然環境資源以外，地方的人文史地部份，地方產業更是這次推廣的要素，兩個部落居民共同參與設計這次全程活動的行程。讓都會區的遊客，更能認識新光與鎮西堡部落環境之美。

鎮西堡檜木群
鎮西堡神木群是全台灣最大的檜木原始林，面積達五十平方公里；進入神木區，一棵棵高大的紅檜、扁柏、肖楠沿途矗然而立，由於長期處在潮濕、無干擾的環境，高齡神木的樹表佈滿青苔和蕨類，續行至約海拔2375公尺處，有一毒龍潭其面積不大，因位在原始幽深的森林中，四周經常雲霧籠罩，充滿著神秘氣氛。鎮西堡神木群分為A-B區，大多人前往B區神木群較多、神木步道都優於A區安全既輕鬆，適合一般遊客前往觀賞。

基那吉山登山步道
基那吉山屬二等三角點，四周原始森林、動物植物多樣性此處風景宜人，至三角點可以觀賞大霸尖山一景。全程7公里步道指標完善，爬山健行是一處最佳旅遊地。標高2165公尺，爬此山請您攜帶水與乾糧。

英國獨立報報導，考量塞納河洪患威脅，法國巴黎羅浮宮二日與法國北加萊海峽省政府簽訂協議，決定將地窖內廿萬件未公開展示的藝術品移到北加萊海峽省的新倉庫。這項浩大工程將於未來五年完成，新倉庫興建費用約六千萬歐元（約台幣廿四億元），該省政府同意補助一半費用，希望藉由羅浮宮館藏提升當地文化地位。

羅浮宮的這廿萬件館藏包括畫作、數萬件雕像等古董或藝術品，堪稱全球最大的「隱藏版」藝術收藏，多數收藏未公開展示，僅提供租借或研究之用。新倉庫占地約七千一百坪，將建於去年開幕的羅浮宮北部朗斯分館附近。

羅浮宮現有四十六萬件館藏，但礙於館場空間限制，僅對外展出三萬五千萬件作品。部分館藏目前放在朗斯分館，還有一些放在二○一五年開幕的阿拉伯聯合大公國阿布達比分館。

羅浮宮泰半館藏目前放塞納河畔的主館地窖內，但塞納河若暴漲潰堤，可能波及這些無價之寶。羅浮宮預計在未來五年內逐步移置這些館藏，部分員工亦將轉赴朗斯分館任職。

羅浮宮新任館長馬蒂內茲說，他希望藉由這次搬遷，「讓這些隱藏版收藏有機會更親近大眾」。此外，羅浮宮目前正在考量法國文化部長費里佩提的提議，將收藏品租借給辦公室和工廠。
