【潘志偉／新北報導】創世基金會新店分院今舉辦「2013愛心片片，守護天使溫暖送愛至創世記者會」活動，長期捐助物資的康宜庭生活藥局，今捐助全院65名植物人院生一日的尿布、看護墊、奶粉，並將這些物資做成大型蛋糕塔，並由林姓女藥師扮演天使，穿載利用尿片製做的天使翅膀，幫院內最小的12歲院生小萱慶生。
 
創世社會福利基金會新店分院院長張淑娟表示，全院內最小的小萱今天生日，小萱2歲時因為不慎摔落地面、撞擊頭部，讓她變成植物人，父母親也因此不願再生第二胎，想要全心全意照顧小萱，因家中還有兩老需要家人照料，才無法將小萱帶回照顧，只好將她安置在創世社會福利基金會新店分院。張淑娟表示，希望社會大眾能多多捐款，幫助這些弱勢團體。

【王秋燕／綜合外電報導】根據《華爾街日報》報導，美國政府為期16天的停擺鬧劇落幕，消耗美國經濟成長動能，也讓亞洲經濟前景蒙上陰影。
 
經濟學家估，美國政府停擺期間可能能使美國經濟成長率降低0.1~0.2個百分點；標準普爾（Standard & Poor's）將美國第4季度經濟成長率目標3%下調至2%。美國經濟第4季受到影響對亞洲出口商是個壞消息，亞洲出口商一直依賴美國市場來抵消全球其他地區需求疲軟的不利影響。

交通部觀光局以有礙觀光為名，通令各地稽查清除法輪功廣告？有影無？

自由時報昨(16)日以「中國打手？ 觀光局點名 拆法輪功廣告」為標題報導
報導，「馬政府為了中國觀光客，交通部觀光局竟然通令各地稽查清除法輪功廣告！」民進黨立委田秋堇質疑，觀光局莫名其妙，法輪功廣告到底怎麼礙著觀光發展？

對此，交通部觀光局表示，觀光局僅在單純處理民眾投訴反映建議案件，函請各地方政府及風景區管理單位稽查違章廣告物，重點在其設置是否違規，不問其是否為特定團體、企業或個人，該局並無針對性，也無言論自由問題。

觀光局表示，因近期收到民眾反映於旅遊途中發現有廣告物影響觀光形象，建議該局應重視國際旅客觀感。觀光局爰轉請各相關目的事業主管機關協助對所轄區域稽查有無違規設置之廣告物依法處理，以維旅遊品質及形象。至有關提及特定團體名稱僅係單純轉述民眾所提內容，並無針對特定對象，反映民眾也表示無特定政治或宗教傾向。

觀光局說，維護轄內景區環境及觀光景點風貌，本是該管理機關重要任務，而反映民眾也於文中聲明：「並無任何的歧視」，僅是對大型看板感到不適當；是希望對不適當的大型看板或違規廣告物有所處理，共同維護環境品質。
