【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】沙烏地阿拉伯雖然剛獲選為聯合國安理會的非常任理事國，但因不滿安理會對敘利亞化武問題的處置，昨天以拒絕接受該職務作為抗議。這次新選出的5個非常任理事國為查德、沙烏地阿拉伯、立陶宛、奈及利亞和智利。

安理會非常任理事國的任期為兩年，獲選者可以跟美、俄、英、法、中一起討論國際安全議題。這是沙烏地阿拉伯首次獲選為安理會非常任理事國，但沙烏地阿拉伯政府批評聯合國，允許敘利亞政府以化學武器屠殺自己的人民，卻沒有施加任何威懾性的制裁。

（軍聞社記者蔡宗恆泰國十九日電）臺北榮民總醫院今天前往泰國大谷地村實施最後一站的義診活動，三天來吸引近千位榮眷與當地居民前往看診，聽取衛教觀念，更提供不少醫療物資，展現人道關懷的精神。

　雖然一連三天陰雨，榮總義診醫療團隊今天一早仍舊精神抖擻在林芳郁院長的帶領下，前往大谷地活動中心為當地居民給予優質的義診服務。就診民眾陸續領取號碼牌、填寫資料、量血壓，並實施檢傷分類。

　中華民國駐泰國臺北經濟文化辦事處副代表梁洪昇，在軍協組組長霍霈上校的陪同下，也特別前往瞭解醫療團隊看診狀況並慰勉辛勞，梁副代表相當肯定退輔會榮民總醫院近幾年都能到泰北地區實施義診，強調臺灣人的愛心不落人後，幾次國際間的多項重大天災如海地、印尼震災，臺灣都能在第一時間給予許多救難物資，帶給當地人溫暖，獲得國際好評，此次榮總醫療團隊一連三天的無私奉獻，同樣讓人感動。

　林芳郁院長表示，此次能順利的於熱水塘、賀肥以及大谷地等地，為榮眷以及當地的居民實施義診服務，團員都相當的開心，義診的地區位處偏遠，對於醫師及護理人員的體力是一項挑戰，但團員們都相當努力，希望讓當地居民感受到政府的關懷美意。

　駐守當地的第三軍區帕猛部隊副指揮官卡西帝特級上校也前往感謝醫療團的付出，對於臺北榮總團隊攜帶當地較少有的超音波、聽力檢測儀、生化檢測機等先進醫療設備，為當地居民診療表達感謝之意，並表示未來若有任何需要仍會大力給予協助。

　大谷地村村長朱明駿指出，鄉親知道有來自臺灣的一流醫療團隊專程前往泰北地區實施義診都相當期待，一早就湧入大批居民，井然有序的等待看診，看到醫療團隊運用有限的設備與資源，給予親切專業的醫療服務，感到相當滿意。

破天荒跟恐龍同眠 恐龍夜派對  地點：科學館

恐龍向來是兒童世界不死題材，科學館繼 2007年後，下月 8日至明年 4月 9日再搞恐龍展。除有例牌的化石展覽及講座外，更破天荒舉辦 4場親子通宵「恐龍夜派對」，讓 9至 11歲兒童與 1名年滿 18歲的家人，在展覽場地宿一宵。其間播放模擬 1億年前星空的天象節目，讓大人小孩一嚐睡在恐龍腳底看星星的滋味。更玩尋寶遊戲，鍾意恐龍的小朋友肯定開心到飛起，但我聽完就希望睡時千祈唔好「翻生侏羅紀」。

 

小朋友太細可觀看「勇闖侏羅紀」互動劇場，栩栩如生的恐龍顯示其習性及故事。 11月 10日（周日）， 11am-11:50am/ 3pm-3:50pm，科學館演講廳。英語進行，輔以粵語傳譯。每場 290人，於 10月 26日（周六） 10am於科學館大堂索取入場券，每人限取 2張。查詢： 2732 3232。

演員會穿着恐龍服飾於天水圍圖書館（ 11月 9日周六下午）和文化中心（ 11月 12日周二下午）出沒，大家要小心。 

此外，展覽將展出逾百件恐龍化石，部分更可讓市民親手觸摸。康文署圖片
