台東初鹿枇杷與前2年相同，都受到去年9月到10月間開花期的連日降雨，讓原本2月初即可採收，延至2月底、3月初才上市，加上年初受寒流影響，產量減少3成以上，每台斤價格上漲10元，卻也讓果實較往年大顆、甘甜，大多為15顆一斤的特級枇杷，產季將可持續到清明節過後，愛吃枇杷的民眾切勿錯過。
