（軍聞社記者莊家宏臺北十三日電）國防部今天表示，中央氣象局已於下午五時卅分解除「蘇力颱風」陸上颱風警報，截至下午九時止，各作戰區配合縣市政府需求，共計派遣兵力三千四百一十六員，各式車輛一百九十六輛，完成四百四十位鄉民撤離、七千零二十三個沙包堆置、一百四十三點五噸垃圾清運、一百七十七公里道路清理等工作。

　國防部指出，第二作戰區針對花東地區，計派遣兵力二百八十一員，前往花蓮秀林、吉安、萬榮、富里、卓溪鄉及花蓮市，協助鄉民撤離工作；第三作戰區針對北部地區，計派遣兵力二千六百卅員，前往宜蘭冬山河親水公園、新竹五峰、橫山、尖石、北埔鄉及新竹市、中壢市、新北深坑、三芝、坪林、土城等地區，進行道路清理及協助鄉民撤離工作；第四作戰區針對南部地區，派遣兵力三百廿六員，前往高雄桃源、那瑪夏、甲仙、六龜、茂林區、臺南七股、永康、安南、新市區、屏東林邊、佳冬等鄉，進行協助鄉民撤離、沙包堆置及道路清理工作；第五作戰區針對中部地區，派遣兵力二百四十二員，前往臺中新社、卓蘭等地區，協助鄉民撤離及協助沙包堆置作業。

　國防部強調，國軍將持續針對受災地區，主動協助災害防救與災後復原工作。
