【蕭夙眉／台中報導】釣具觀光工廠寶熊漁樂館今天啟用，由全球前三大釣魚用品品牌Okuma投資，今天開始至八月舉辦「天生釣手就是我」活動，模擬海釣場景，參賽者五分鐘內釣起500公斤的鮪魚，即獲贈釣竿一支。參賽者廖祐祿（29歲）挑戰成功，他說，海釣經驗四年，過去曾釣過20公斤的鮪魚，這回挑戰500公斤，他釣得滿頭大汗，直呼：「好累，非常有臨場感。」參賽者黃柏欽（35歲）直呼手好酸，但拿到釣竿真開心。
 
Okuma董事長張良任指出，該館有釣魚歷史起源展示區、釣遊台灣多媒體驗區、釣具生產過程、釣法裝備展示區、動感體驗區，其中，動感體驗區有釣魚模擬體驗機、3D劇場、4D動感快艇體驗等。

【綜合報導】英國一名育有四子的爸爸，在野外被馬蠅(horsefly)咬了一下，出現過敏性休克，在數分鐘內便死去。

48歲的巴蒂（Andy Batty）身高182公分，體型健碩。他周日(21日)陪女兒在德文郡郊區騎馬，被馬蠅叮咬後，立即休克，數分鐘內當場宣告死亡。

專家表示，這個情況非常罕見且不尋常，在夏季被馬蠅叮咬很平常，被叮的地方數分鐘便會紅腫、發癢，但通常無大傷害。專家估計，巴蒂可能之前曾遭馬蠅叮過，再次被叮，觸發了他身體的免疫系統產生過敏抗體，加上他具有疾病遺傳易感性，才會出現如此嚴重過敏反應。

【綜合報導】國人驚爆有人遭染狂犬病的鼬獾咬傷首例，台東縣東河鄉黃姓男子(30歲)本周一被咬後坦言，情緒快崩潰；其傷口暫無測得狂犬病毒，昨已出院返家。

《聯合報》報導，「我希望我是第一個，也是最後一個！」黃男成為台灣50年來被狂犬病鼬獾咬傷案例，還自我解嘲說，「至少歷史有我吧！」他說，高職學畜牧獸醫，大學讀生物技術系，主攻微生物；該經歷在咬的第一時間，比常人多了一些警覺。
