【綜合報導】英國艾克斯特大學(University of Exeter)研究員歐雅(Alise Ojay)近日進行的一項研究發現，若每日進行發聲練習，有助於愛打呼者改善打呼狀況，進而提升睡眠品質。

據了解，該研究啟發自一位音樂老師，他協助朋友進行發聲練習後，讓朋友改善打呼的狀況。這份研究針對30名有打呼習慣者，維持連續3個月，每天在睡前進行數分鐘的發聲練習，並和其他30名未進行發聲練習的打呼者進行比對，發現有做發聲練習的打呼者，明顯改善睡覺時的打呼情況。

報告中也推測，發聲練習可以讓造成打呼的喉嚨和上顎肌肉進行訓練，讓該處肌肉更緊實，以減少打呼的發生。

【綜合報導】家住英國大曼徹斯特地區的11歲男孩羅斯威爾(Brad Rothwell)是老師同學眼中的模範生，成績好個性又活潑。媽媽兩年多前因為癌症過世後，年幼的他就成了家裡的開心果，總是逗老爸和弟弟開心。羅斯威爾平常最喜歡對爸爸惡作劇，並將老爸被整的畫面用手機拍下來、上傳到影音分享網站《YouTube》與網友分享。

但惡作劇有時不能太過份，去年一個周末，羅斯威爾趁著老爸開車載弟弟出門，又在房裡搞起了自己設計的點子，要在老爸回來時嚇嚇他，他拿出預備好的繩子，在與弟弟共用的雙層床上層床沿結了個繩結，疑似為了試驗繩結夠不夠牢，他把頭伸了進去，不慎把自己吊死在床邊。他的父親回家時聽見小兒子尖叫，上樓看到吊在床邊的羅斯威爾，忙將他解下，卻已回天乏術。

日前當地法院召開死因調查，檢察官表示「這是個無法想像的悲劇。惡作劇常常會搞到失去控制，他就救不了他自己」。
